Myrbalan Powder is  prepared from the nuts of Terminalia Chebula.
This natural dye and tannin is commonly used throughout India and grows primarily in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Myrobalan overdyed with indigo gives you wonderful teal color.
 
Use at;
10% WOF for light shades and basic mordanting
15% WOF for medium depth of shade rich yellow
25%  and up WOF for darker browns.
Active dye component; Gallic and ellagic acid derived hydrolysable tannins, chebulinic acid (a flavonoid).
 
In combination with iron, myrobalan will give grey to black.
