Merino wool, also known as Etamine de Laine, or wool

Cheesecloth. This wool fabric is the favourite of any eco-printer because it just takes the pigments so well. My personal go-to when I work with wool. Super high quality fabric, a joy to work with. Non itchy.

Tech Specs;

155cm / 61inch wide

19.5 micron organic virgin merino wool.

Unbleached, undyed, no starch applied.

Pre-washed, no need to scour.

Produced according to GOTS standard, controlled by the European Union.

Why choose organic?

Our organic wool products are made from Patagonian new wool from South America - where mulesing is not practiced as a result of lack of insect infestation on sheep. Spinning of the fiber, weaving of the fabric, as well as washing takes place in Europe at production places certified to GOTS Standard.

Additionally, we hereby confirm that during the washing process of our organic wool there is no use of chemicals normally utilized to avoid a felting process of the fabric.

      One of my favourite fabrics!

      Soft to touch and takes to eco printing and natural dyes exceptionally well. Suzanne’s product here is the best I have used.

      Gorgeous fabric

      It is a gorgeous fabric. It is weaved with very fine merino, soft, and drapery. It takes natural dye very well.

      Thank you for sending it very fast.

      exquisite merino

      The cloth is fine and beautifully woven. I will make a garment and underline it to stabilize it and make it opaque. I will probably dye it with plant dyes.
