Introducing our extraordinary handwoven wool fabric, meticulously crafted in India and now available in a generous 144cm/56-inch width.

This fabric is a tribute to the skilled weavers of West Bengal who have mastered the craft over generations.

Sourced from local Kashmiri wool, this fabric is cruelty-free, free of harsh chemicals, and has a super low carbon footprint.

The extra width variant empowers your creativity to soar. A great canvas for natural dyes and plant prints.

The fabric's handwoven origin adds a distinct character to each meter. This fabric feels authentic and unique, with every meter telling a story of craftsmanship.

Handwoven by our artisans in India

+- 144 cm (56 inch) wide.

This fabric contains quite a bit of lanolin. I clean them the following way:

wash by hand with a spoon of dishwashing detergent in hand-warm water, and soak overnight. Rinse with cold water, and repeat the process. The water should be clear after this. Continue with mordanting.

Usual maintenance: Handwash with pH-neutral detergent at 35ºC max.

We have this fabric also in regular-sized stoles;
