Myrobalan Powder is a concentrated tannic extract prepared from the nuts of Terminalia Chebula.
This powder is dark gray and dissolves easily in water.
This natural dye and tannin is commonly used throughout India and grows primarily in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Myrobalan overdyed with indigo gives you wonderful teal color.
 
2% WOF for light shades and basic mordanting
10% WOF for medium depth of shade rich yellow
13% WOF for darker browns.
 
In combination with iron, myrobalan will give grey to black.
 
Active ingredients: Gallic and ellagic acid derived hydrolysable tannins.
