Handwoven wool twill fabric. This fabric has the typical diagonal twill stripes, woven on a 4 heddle loom by artisan weavers.
The wool is fabulous for winter clothing, it is not too sheer or beautiful wraps. I can imagine this with red eucalyptus!
 
Ecoprinting: straight away proceed to mordanting and printing.
Solid dyeing should be done after two rounds of cold scouring in a bucket of cold water with some dishwashing detergent to remove lingering oils and naphthalene.
