"They shall make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments, throughout their generations, and they shall affix a thread of sky blue [wool] on the fringe of each corner.   This shall be fringes for you, and when you see it, you will remember all the commandments of the Lord to perform them, and you shall not wander after your hearts and after your eyes after which you are going astray."

The strings are tied according to the ancient traditions of our forefathers, five double knots with seven coils in the first space, eight in the second, eleven in the third, and thirteen in the fourth. These 39 coils have the same numerical value as "Hashem Echad" — G‑d is One.

I have tied and wound the strings with the appropriate blessings and intentions of the heart.

A bit longer to fit a male's wrist.
