Some call this dye plant Asp of Jerusalem, it is also known as Glastum, Dyers' Woad and simply...Woad

The elusive blue of woad, sometimes blue, sometimes gray, and sometimes green, depending on the light and the material dyed. I would call this shade a muted indigo.

I hand-dyed a limited edition of silk scarves with this beautiful and precious ancestral dye, packed in a beautiful box with a label and a card explaining the product. What a perfect luxury gift for yourself or a loved one!

This is a 90-90 cm (35 inches) luxurious silk Crepe de Chinesquare with hand-rolled hems.
