A heavier version of our popular tubular knit from 100% mulberry silk noil. This knit jersey silk is especially good for dresses and other pieces of clothing as it is not see-through.
 
We love this silk noil, with its' nubby texture and so soft and drapey. Silk jersey noil dyes fantastically, because it is so sericin rich. It will give you lovely saturated colors in any botanical print or dye project you do with it.

This silk is produced in China by a producer who has their own farm to grow high-quality mulberry trees. Rearing the silkworms, spinning and weaving silk fabric  are all done in one continuous production line.
 
This fabric is OEKO-TEX 100 Certified and GRS certified; The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. It also sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.
 
IS0-9001 Certified.
 
The factory holds certification by TUV Rheinland, one of the strictest safety and quality certifiers who hold in person check periodically on site.
