This is handspun cotton weft on a mulberry silk warp. This combination makes for a crisp, luxurious fabric that dyes amazing, and will be the perfect base for formal wear. The fabric is a bit stiff, so it holds a shape well. The mulberry silk gives a subtle sheen to the textile.
I created a dream gown out of this material for the red carpet event of 'Let Them Be Naked' in Nashville and I got compliments all around!
